Visits may include evaluation of joint pain, back pain, neck pain, soft-tissue concerns, injury recovery, prior treatment history, imaging reports, and practical non-opioid care planning.
Referral and authorization
VA CCN and TRICARE visits may require referral, authorization, or eligibility confirmation before care can be scheduled. Patients should confirm coverage and authorization through their VA care team, TRICARE plan, or referring provider.
Care approach
The clinic focuses on clear evaluation, conservative options, non-opioid pain strategies, and clinically appropriate next steps. When appropriate, injection-based care or additional treatment options may be discussed.
Before scheduling
True North Health Clinic provides appointment-based care for eligible VA CCN and TRICARE patients once referral, authorization, or eligibility has been confirmed through the appropriate process. This service is separate from contracted Veteran Disability Evaluations. The clinic does not provide chronic opioid management, and patients should not arrive without a confirmed appointment.
